how does photography connect us?
At the beginning, David Griffin talks introduced about several amazing pictures from those famous photographers. And those Photographers' works have some deeper meaning behind the pictures. Photography is the way to capture the wonderful moment which you want to keep. Photography just like the memory book in which it kept the amazing and happy time that you have before. When you see those picture, your emotion can connect to it. This is photography so that makes its own powerful connection to the viewer. The photograph that took by Dr. Euan Mason which is about the Star sky in New Zealand. It was published in the national geographic. This person who took this picture is not a photographer, he just person who attended the active which called " The Shot." David Griffin what to pointed out that in the life of everyone there will be one or two more great photographies.
Second, David Griffin talks about how to create a visual narrative which means need to know how to tell the story. The one picture records a story in it. For example, the photographer Nick Nichols capture the picture of a serval cat, lions with the broken tooth, the crocodile with some water in the back of his tail, and the elephants in Zakouma. He wants to represent the fear of the animal. Then he came back for little days, the elephants were killed. Some hunters kill them for money. And those poor animals run away. He shows the sense of the protection to those animals. The picture tells the sad story about the animal. People was cruel and blood to kill those animals without the thinking of animals. The picture can not lie because it shows the real world of our society.
Third, Photography can issue that are potentially distressing and controversial. The Photography can not only record people's memory and some issues about the world, but it also can play fun. For example, the photographer Paul Nicklin traveled to Antarctica and shoot the story of the leopard seal. Taking photography can make people travel all over the world and find some very interesting things to observe and to close to nature. The photography can point out the challenges and opportunities facing towards the world to people. Photography is really connected to people because it gives more fun and happy time for people, and also warning people to be careful about their action to nature.
